Our present psychological state is clearly linked to the distant past of family members we may have never even met. And we can deal with this reality in at least three ways:
Ignoring it
Resisting it
Flowing with it
Ignoring
By ignoring that we are part of a system, we deny reality and, in doing so, lose power. Imagine someone who believes they are completely disconnected from the unconscious influences of their family and collective past. Their understanding of themselves and the world is quite limited.
For example, it becomes much easier to resolve financial struggles when you recognize them systemically—when you realize you might be unconsciously repeating your grandfather’s bankruptcy or your father’s lack of interest in money.
Once this information is brought to light—under the powerful awareness that only a conscious mind can provide—you begin to understand your blind behaviors and, from there, implement solutions that truly see (meaning real change in attitude).
This marks the beginning of a path that is less controlled by collective patterns and more autonomous, individualized, and free from blind herd mentality.
Resisting
Worse than ignoring reality is recognizing our systemic nature but resisting it—throwing a tantrum as if defying the Universe and its laws could change anything.
People who fall into this pattern often experience firsthand that going against systemic hierarchy leads to destruction—manifesting as illness, conflict, financial struggles, and countless forms of chaos. No physical or emotional body can withstand prolonged resentment, pride, judgment, or deep-seated grudges. Yet, despite their suffering, they continue to resist.
Yes, defying systemic laws creates all these consequences—not because we say so, but because that is simply how reality operates. And it is observable.
Flowing With It
Finally, let’s talk about flowing with reality—an incredibly wise and liberating posture. Even as you begin reading this paragraph, you may feel a sense of calm in your body. The energy is different.
Someone who has reached this level of awareness understands and respects systemic laws the same way they respect gravity—like someone standing outside the window on the seventh floor without safety equipment. They know that these laws are not up for negotiation.
They have realized that the cost-benefit of flowing with reality is far better than the suffering caused by resisting it. Exposing oneself to unnecessary pain? Not a good idea.
When life brings difficult times, they walk through the storm with dignity and trust. If an emotional earthquake shakes their spirit, they see it as an opportunity for growth, not as a punishment.
And You?
This conversation could go on indefinitely, but I believe we already have a solid map in front of us—one that invites deep reflection. I hope this perspective has sparked valuable insights.
Where do you see yourself in this journey? What is your greatest challenge? What is holding you back?Where do you need to focus your attention most?
